KL Rahul has already been selected as the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants franchise. It is one of the two new teams that will appear in IPL 2022. The second team is Ahmedabad, which will be captained by Hardik Pandya.
Shardul Thakur and Yuzvendra Chahal are seen having a witty discussion on the action with Rahul in a video on Instagram. Shardul was not retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Chahal was retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In such a situation, both the names are in the auction pool.
