Bhaiyyu Maharaj Suicide Case: Court gave its verdict in the Bhaiyyu Maharaj suicide case, all of them considered guilty

After hearing about three and a half years in the Bhaiyyu Maharaj suicide case, which was famous across the country, the final verdict came on Friday. The sevadars who were more than family to Bhaiyyu Maharaj, in whom he had so much faith that he had entrusted his ashram and work to him, the same sevadars harassed him so much for the money that he was compelled to take steps like suicide. The Sessions Judge sentenced Maharaj's servants Sharad Deshmukh, Vinayak Dudhale, and Palak Puranik for abetting Maharaj's suicide. The court accepted that the accused used to torture Maharaj for money. They were also blackmailed for money.

 

It is to be known that Bhaiyyu Maharaj had committed suicide by shooting himself on the forehead on 12 June 2018. About six months after the incident, the police arrested three of Maharaj's servants Palak, Vinayak, and Sharad on charges of abetment to suicide. It is known that since then all the three accused were in jail.

The Indore court held the final hearing on Friday in the suicide case of the famous saint Bhaiyyu Maharaj of Madhya Pradesh. The court has convicted Vinayak, driver Sharad, and caretaker Palak. According to the information, after three and a half years of hearing, the Sessions Court has given the verdict. The High Court, finding the crime to be substantiated, sentenced Sharad Deshmukh, Vinayak Dudhale, and Palak Puranik, who were the servants of Maharaj, for abetting Maharaj's suicide. The court accepted that the accused used to torture Bhaiyu for money. They were also blackmailed for money.

 

It is to be known that the hearing, in this case, was held on January 19 for five and a half hours. It was said that the verdict in the Bhaiyyu Maharaj suicide case will be pronounced on January 28. The hearing lasted for five and a half hours in two sessions in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Soni. Advocate Ashish Choure was appearing for the accused Vinayak.
