As the winters comes in the existence of delhi temperature, the Delhi mobile heath time decided to
help the needy people. They give nghht sheltered to those people who have no place to hide in the
night and used to stay on road side footpath.
Delhi high court over services on in the night shelters, and the 7 mobile health team have been
appointed by the health department and provide service to the thousands people who stay in
shelters. The doctors from the mobile heatlh scheme will be on the round from 5pm-11pm in 183
night shelters.
Besides this chief medical officers will conduct bi-weekly rounds in the night shelters and their
respective districts. They are equipped with the all essential antibiotics, injections and the others
needed medicine.
An official said, “Besides conducting basic check-ups, these doctors will help us pre-empt diseases
like bronchial infections, fever and even pneumonia which the homeless are susceptible to. The idea
is to attend to as many frequently reported medical problems and resolve them in shelters”
In addition to this “most of the persons did not reach the any medical facility because of not having
the money or no information about the medical camps, so the mobile team will attend and fight
with these kind of situation” Dr.Baghotia said.
