Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that the government is considering a lockdown in 2-3 cities of the state every Sunday. Here, the Delhi government has mandated random testing (RAT / RT-PCR) of passengers coming from other states at all airports, railway stations, interstate bus terminals. There is a ban on celebrating Holi, Shab-e-Baaraat, and Navratri in public places in Delhi.

 

The state government has issued some instructions before Holi in Uttar Pradesh. In these, no procession can be carried out without prior permission. Children over 60 years of age and below 10 years of age are not allowed to participate in any form of celebration.

 

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a guideline for effective control regarding the increasing cases of Corona. It will be effective from 1 April and will remain in force till 30 April 2021. It directed all states to strictly implement the Test, Tracking, and Treat protocol.

 

Amidst growing cases of corona in the country, the big news is coming about vaccination. From April 1, everyone 45 years and above will be able to get the Corona vaccine. The central government took this decision on Tuesday. Till now only vaccines were being given to people with serious illnesses between 45 and 60 years.

1. Maharashtra: New case boom in 24 hours

 

28,699 new patients were found here on Tuesday. 13,165 recovered, while 132 died. So far, 25.33 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 22.47 lakh have been cured, while 53,589 have died. Here again, an increase in cases has been registered as compared to Monday. There were 24,645 cases on Monday.

 

2. Punjab: UK variant found in 81% of patients

4. Kerala: Half of active cases in a month

 

1,985 new patients were found here on Tuesday. 2,172 recovered, while 10 died. So far, 11 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 10.7 lakh have been cured, while 4,518 have died. The figure of infection increased again on the fourth day. There were 1,238 cases on Monday, which increased to 1,985 on Tuesday. There has been a sharp decline in the active case here. On February 23, 54,661 patients were undergoing treatment here. This number has come down to 23,880.

 

5. Chhattisgarh: 6,393 active cases increased in 8 days

 

1,910 new patients were found here on Tuesday. 604 recovered, while 20 died. So far, 3.27 lakh people have been infected with the epidemic in the state. Of these, 3.13 lakh have been cured, while 3,982 have died. There has been an increase of 6,393 active cases, ie, the number of patients undergoing treatment in the last eight days. There were 4098 active cases on 14 March, which increased to 10,491 on 23 March.

 

6. Gujarat: Case increased for 22nd consecutive days

 

1,730 new corona patients were found here on Tuesday. 1,255 patients recovered, while 4 died. So far, 2.9 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.77 lakh have been cured, while 4,458 patients have died. There were 407 cases here on February 28, since then an increase is being recorded every day.

 

7. Madhya Pradesh: 50% cases only in Indore and Bhopal

 

1,502 new patients were found here on Tuesday. 798 recovered, while 4 died. So far 2.78 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.65 lakh have been cured, while 3,912 have died. In the state, 387 new patients were found in Indore, while 362 new patients were found in Bhopal.

 

8. Tamil Nadu: 25% of the population tested

 

1,437 new patients were found here on Tuesday. 902 recovered, while 9 died. So far, 8.69 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 8.48 lakh have been cured, while 12,618 have died. Tamil Nadu has a population of 76 million, out of which 1 million 90 million has been tested so far.

 

9. Delhi: 1,000 cases rise in 23 days in new case

 

Mangalar received 1,101 new cases here. 620 patients recovered and 4 infected died. So far, 6.49 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic, 6.34 lakh have been cured and 10,967 have lost their lives. 4,411 are currently undergoing treatment. There were 175 cases on March 1, that is, there has been a surge of more than 1,000 in just 23 days.

 

10. Haryana: More than 5,000 active cases increased in a month

 

On Tuesday, 895 new patients were found, 441 were cured and 3 died. So far 2.81 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.72 lakh have been cured and 3,104 have died. Currently, 6,146 patients are being treated in the state. On February 19, the active cases were reduced to 819. That is, there has been a jump of more than 5,000 in the last month.

 

11. Rajasthan: New cases crossed from 76 to 400 in a month

 

On Tuesday, 480 infected people were identified. 220 patients recovered and 4 died. So far, 3.26 lakh patients have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 3.19 lakh have been cured, while 2,807 have lost their lives. There were 76 cases on 23 February, which has increased to close to 480 on 23 March. That is, an increase of more than 400 has been recorded.
