Twitter made a big mistake, told Jammu and Kashmir, part of China, not yet apologized

Twitter hit the target on Sunday when it declared Jammu and Kashmir as part of China. Twitter made this mistake after the event was held live by some journalists at the War Memorial in Leh, the capital of Ladakh. The company has not yet admitted its mistake nor apologized.

National Broadcasting Analyst Nitin Gokhale started the live broadcast on Twitter by writing from the Hall of Fame Memorial in memory of the soldiers who were martyred for the country. The location tag shown in the video was 'Jammu and Kashmir, People's Republic of China'. Gokhale and other Twitter users immediately complained about this mistake on the official handles of Twitter and Twitter India. However, no reply has been provided from any account.

Gokhale tweeted immediately after the live broadcast, "Friends of Twitter, I went live from the Hall of Fame. The location of the Hall of Fame is being reported as Jammu and Kashmir, People's Republic of China. Have you gone mad? ”He also asked other Twitter users to tag the Hall of Fame Leh location live on Twitter.

Gokhale, Editor-in-Chief of Start News Global, is currently roaming the Northern Border area and recently tweeted about his trip. The places he has visited include the newly constructed Atal Tunnel and Shinkula Pass on the Leh-Manali highway.

Some other users also tagged the location to Leh, uploading photos and live broadcasts. However, the comment was the same but the Hall of Fame Leh is being shown as part of China. Kanchan Gupta, a Fellow of the Observer Research Foundation also tweeted on the issue. "It means Twitter has changed geography and declared Jammu and Kashmir as part of China," he wrote. Is it not a violation of Indian laws? Citizens of India have been punished for less, but America's big tech company is above the law?

This comes at a time when Indian users of Xiaomi phones complained a day earlier than their device was not showing the weather report for Arunachal Pradesh. Gaurav Chaudhary, who runs the Technical Guruji channel on YouTube, raised the issue and many people said the same thing after that. Both these incidents have taken place at a time when there is a dispute between India and China over the border.
