Actor Prabhas's much talked about film 'Salaar' has been released in theaters today. Recently, booking of the film was going on in full swing and there was good news for the fans of the actor. The shows of 'Saalar' will also be shown at 1 am in the night and 4 am. Talking about the booking of the film, Prabhas's film has given a strong beating to Shahrukh's 'Dinky' and it is expected that Prabhas's Salaar will open more than Shahrukh's film 'Dinky'.
Salaar will open higher than Dinky
If media reports are to be believed, 'Saalar' has registered bookings of Rs 48.94 crore on the first day. This shows that its final opening collection could be much more than Dunky. Dunki opened at around Rs 30 crore on the first day. According to reports, over 22 lakh tickets for 16,593 shows were sold for Salaar on Friday. This includes around 17 lakh tickets worth Rs 38.25 crore for Telugu shows alone. Before the film's release, more than 2 lakh tickets worth Rs 5.62 crore were sold for the Hindi show and Rs 1.9 crore for the Tamil show.
Huge jump in booking
For the past few days, the makers of the film have expressed concern over 'Salaar' not getting a proper screen share with Shahrukh Khan-starrer 'Dinky'. The makers of 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' on Wednesday said they will not screen their film in PVR Inox and Mirage Cinema theaters in the south as the multiplex chains are favoring Dinky over the Prabhas-starrer. However, PVR issued an official statement calling all these reports rumors. Along with this, there is news of giving proper screen to 'Dinky' and 'Salar' in the North also, due to which this war seems to be over now.
The film was released today
Let us tell you that 'Salaar' is directed by KGF fame Prashant Neel. The film was also released worldwide in Kannada and Malayalam. It stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles and Shruti Haasan in the lead role.
