Apart from PAC, 20 percent of women are to be recruited in other branches as per the rules. It is noteworthy that in the year 2017, the number of women personnel in the state police was around 10 thousand, which has increased to 40 thousand in the last seven years. After the recruitments to be held soon, this number will exceed 50 thousand.
