Apart from PAC, 20 percent of women are to be recruited in other branches as per the rules. It is noteworthy that in the year 2017, the number of women personnel in the state police was around 10 thousand, which has increased to 40 thousand in the last seven years. After the recruitments to be held soon, this number will exceed 50 thousand.

Let us tell you that the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is going to issue a release within a week to start the process of direct recruitment of 60,244 constables in the Civil Police. Online applications will be invited from the candidates. About 25 lakh candidates are expected to apply for this.

For the last three years, the exercise of recruitment of constables has been postponed again and again. During the last six months, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has completed the actions related to the selection of the executing agency for examining direct recruitment of constables in Civil Police and the facility of one-time registration of the candidates.

After the release of the constable recruitment release, candidates will be given about 15 days to apply online. After that, the applications will be scrutinized, after which the dates of the written examination will be announced. Let us tell you that earlier these recruitments were to be done on 52,699 posts, but after including some other proposals sent by the DGP Headquarters, their number has increased to 60,244.
