Upcoming Movies 2022: These six much-awaited films will be released in theaters on this day, the makers released the official statement

Shahid Kapoor's 'Jersey' was set to release late last year, and was about to clash with Ranveer Singh's '83. However, due to the erratic rise in Corona cases, cinema halls were shut, especially in Mumbai, hence the release date was pushed even further. But now, Omicron's affairs are showing a downward trend, and these much-awaited Bollywood movies now have a definite release date announced. See the full list here

Release date - April 14

'Jersey', which was to be released in the last week of 2021, will now release on April 14. The film, which Shahid and the team have been planning for a long time, will release along with KGF Chapter 2.

Release date - April 14

'Bhediya' is a horror-comedy film directed by Amar Kaushik. In the video and teaser of the film, actor Varun Dhawan is seen roaring like a bear. As per the announcement of Maddock Films, the film is slated to release on April 14.

 

Movie - Bachchan Pandey

Release date - March 18

Akshay Kumar's Bachchan Pandey, whose trailer was released on February 18, is all set to release exactly a month later on March 18.

 

Movie - Lal Singh Chaddha

Release date - August 11, 2022

Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, which is the Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump, was scheduled for release on April 14 but has now been shifted to August 11. The August release date was supposed to clash with Bhushan Kumar's Adipurush but has since been shifted to another release date.

 

Movie - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Release date - May 20

A sequel to Priyadarshan's iconic 2007 horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 stars Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani. After completing some shooting schedules during the pandemic and confirming some possible release dates, the film will finally release on May 20.

Release date - April 8

Kangana Ranaut has also announced her upcoming film. In an Instagram post, the actress revealed the poster of India's first female-led action-thriller film, Dhaakad. Releasing on April 8, the film also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in strong supporting roles.
