Kashmir Zone Police officials said that information was received about the presence of terrorists in the Zainapora area. After this, a search operation was launched. Seeing the cordon tightening, the terrorists opened heavy firing on the security forces. One terrorist was killed in retaliatory action.
Two army personnel have also been martyred in the encounter. At present, the army has not disclosed his name yet. The search operation is still going on in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, this grenade exploded in the middle of the road, the blast shattered the windows of nearby shops.
An auto parked at the auto stand was also damaged. A policeman on duty was injured in this attack, who was immediately admitted to the nearest hospital. His condition is said to be out of danger. The police have started the investigation by registering an FIR of the attack.
