7 big questions related to vaccination and their answers…
1. Will the vaccine be available without registration?
No. It will not be. Registration is required. The place where the vaccine will be placed will be informed only after registration. The government has created a COVIN (Co-WIN) app, which will provide technical assistance in real-time monitoring of the vaccine. Only people will be able to register on this. Anyone can create a unique health ID from Co-WIN and save it to DigiLocker.
2. What type of documents will be required for registration?
These documents along with the photo have to be produced for registration: driving license, health insurance smart card issued by the Ministry of Labor, MGNREGA job card, MP, ID card issued to legislators, PAN card, bank/post office passbook, Passport, pension document, service ID and voter ID card issued to employees by the central and state government.
3. What if I do not have a photo ID?
It will be necessary to present a photo ID at the time of registration and vaccination. It will only be known that the right person is vaccinated.
4. How will people get information about the date of vaccination?
People who have registered online will get SMS. They will be informed about the date, place, and time.
5. How many people will be vaccinated in each session?
Initially, only 100 people will be vaccinated in each session of vaccination. If the availability and arrangement of the vaccine are improved, then this number can also be 200.
6. Will you get status information on vaccination?
Yes After the vaccination, the person will receive an SMS on the registered mobile number. The QR-Code based certificate will also be sent after applying all the doses.
7. If a person has symptoms of corona or is positive, will they get the vaccine?
No. The government says that such people can spread infection by visiting vaccination sites. I do not know how effective the vaccine will be in such a situation. Experts believe that those who have an infection should undergo vaccination 14 days after the symptoms are gone.
