Semi high-speed train Vande Bharat Express has again crashed in Gujarat. Due to the sudden cow coming in front of the train, its front part got damaged. The accident happened near Atul railway station in Valsad. This is the third incident in a month.
Due to the high speed of the train, one bogie also got separated with a jolt. Shortly after the accident, the Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express was dispatched to its destination. The accident happened at 8.17 am today. At that time the train was passing through Atul railway station. After the accident, the train stood at the station for about 26 minutes. It left for the destination at around 8.43 am.
The coupler cover and BCU cover of Vande Bharat Express were also damaged in the collision. The water supply of the train was also disrupted. Let me tell you, this is the third incident of this month. Earlier this train had crashed twice. Vande Bharat, going from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, collided with animals near Vatva and Maninagar stations. After this, a cow collided with this train near Anand of Vadodara division. No passenger was hurt in the accident. All the passengers are reported to be safe.
Vande Bharat is the third semi-high-speed train in the country running between Mumbai and Gandhinagar. RPF has registered a case against unknown cattle owners for hitting the animals. Sections related to unauthorized entry on railway tracks and misuse of railway property have been imposed on them.
Vande Bharat is equipped with accident prevention technology
On such frequent accidents, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said in the past that a collision with cattle on the tracks is inevitable. This has been kept in mind while designing the semi-high-speed Vande Bharat train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the train on this route on 30 September.
He said that the train has been designed in such a way and it is so strong that if an accident happens, nothing will happen to the train. The front side is completely replaceable.
