Rains are continuing in most of the states of the country. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has said in the forecast released this morning that in the next two hours, there will be rain in many areas of UP, Haryana, and Rajasthan including Delhi NCR.
According to the Delhi Center of Meteorological Department IMD, during the next two hours in and around NCR (Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Barwala, Hansi, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh). There will be light to moderate rain, apart from this, light to moderate rain is also likely over Chandpur, Modinagar, Jattari, Khair, Iglas, Raya, Hathras, Mathura, Tundla, Firozabad, Shikohabad, and parts of Rajasthan.
Heavy rain may occur here
According to the Meteorological Department, today light rain in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, North and Central Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Andaman, and the Nicobar Islands and Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Coastal areas, Odisha, Vidarbha, and Coastal Karnataka Isolated to moderate rain with heavy to very heavy falls at a few places.
At the same time, light to moderate rains is possible over Delhi, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Interior Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Lakshadweep, North Bihar, and parts of Northeast India, South Bihar, Jharkhand, and Tamil Nadu.
Rain continues in many parts of Madhya Pradesh as well. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in nine districts. Among these, heavy rains may occur in many parts of Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Vidisha, Burhanpur, and Khandwa districts today.
On the other hand, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh, Central, and North Chhattisgarh. Apart from these, light to moderate rain is likely at most places in the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Chhattisgarh till July 23.
Rain continues in many areas of Rajasthan too. Rain is expected in many parts of the state during the next 24 hours. During the last 24 hours, a maximum of 16 cm of rain was received in Digod of Kota. During the next 24 hours, heavy rain may occur at isolated places in Ajmer, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Dholpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Nagaur, and Pali districts.
