Delhiites will get wet for the whole week
According to the Meteorological Department, the rainy season is not going to end in the capital. Rain is expected throughout this week, which may be light to moderate. On the other hand, there has not been a big drop in the water level of the Yamuna River so far. Due to this many areas like Rajghat, ITO, and Mayur Vihar are submerged.
Alert issued for UP-Bihar
According to IMD, moderate to heavy rain will occur in many districts of UP and Bihar for the coming two days. Moderate rain is expected in UP's Lucknow, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, and Hapur. At the same time, an alert has been issued for heavy rain in Patna, Bihar.
Himachal and Uttarakhand rain for two consecutive days
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Himachal and Uttarakhand for the next two days. Haridwar has been specially alerted. Let us inform you that the rivers and streams are already in spate in Himachal and Uttarakhand. There have also been reports of landslides in many places.
Heavy rain alerts in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in South India once again. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, and Telangana on July 18 and 19.
Light to moderate rains would occur over Ghat areas of Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra during the next 7 days. A three-day rain alert has also been issued in Haryana and Punjab.
