Silent meetings are organized by various educational institutions and government and non-government organizations on this occasion and prayers are offered for the peace of the souls of the heroes. Many brave sons Bhagat Singh, Shivram Rajguru, and Sukhdev had sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country.
