Where can it rain today?

Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland of Northeast India There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some states and heavy rain in some states with thunderstorm and strong wind in Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert because of rain in 24 states.

 

Delhi rains again broke the record

According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR will remain cloudy on Tuesday as well, but there is a possibility of light rain in some places, relief from heat and coolness will remain, and maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 24 and 20 degree Celsius respectively. Possibility. Rain breaks records in Delhi. Delhi recorded 121.7 millimeters (mm) of rain in the first 10 days of October, the second highest in 16 years. The rainfall so far this month is almost three times the rainfall (41.6 mm) recorded in August. The national capital recorded 122.5 mm of rain in October last year. The rain of calamity will continue in Uttar Pradesh

The rain that started in Uttar Pradesh is not taking its name to stop. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, till October 13, light to moderate rain is expected in most of the districts of the state. Heavy rain is expected in some districts. A yellow alert has also been issued for rain and thundershowers in 62 districts from East Uttar Pradesh to West on October 11.

 

Schools closed in UP even today

Because of heavy rains in many districts including Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow, the district administration on Tuesday also decided to close all government and non-government schools and higher educational institutions up to class 12. In an order issued by Lucknow District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar on Monday, it was said that because of the heavy rain warning issued by the Meteorological Department for October 11 in all the areas of Lucknow district, in all the government and private schools of the board in urban and rural areas. Tuesday has been declared a holiday.

 

Significantly, on Sunday, apart from Lucknow, the district administration in Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Meerut, Aligarh, Mathura, Kanpur, Etah, Mainpuri, Firozabad had ordered the closure of schools on Monday. This order was for all schools up to class 12 of all education boards, where schools were ordered to be closed on Monday in most districts, while in Aligarh there is an order to close schools till October 12.

 

Heavy rain forecast in Uttarakhand

Rainfall may continue for a day or two in Uttarakhand. It may take another three to four days for the monsoon to depart from the state. One to two rounds of heavy rains are forecast in some areas of the state till October 11 evening.

According to meteorologists, there will be rain or thundershowers in many places of Indore division and some places of Sagar, Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Gwalior, and Chambal on Tuesday. There is also a possibility of lightning in the areas of Jabalpur, Indore, Gwalior, and Chambal.

 

Heavy rain warning in Punjab

An orange alert has been issued in many districts of Punjab, warning of heavy rain on Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance has become active in the state. Along with this, there is also the effect of cyclonic winds. Due to this, heavy to moderate rain has been warned in some districts on Tuesday.
