A yellow alert has been issued for rain and thundershowers in eastern Uttar Pradesh till September 3.
Talking about Bihar, there will be rain and thunder in many states for the next 3 days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle in some places with a partly cloudy sky in Delhi on Wednesday. On the other hand, the weather in Noida and Gurugram will be more or less similar to Delhi. Some states including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur of the Northeast may receive heavy rains today.

According to Skymet Weather, today light to moderate rain at isolated places over parts of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Coastal Karnataka, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim. It may rain heavily. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu.
Moderate rain is possible in these states
Light to moderate rain is possible over Bihar, Jharkhand, Northeast India, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu, and remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Light rain is possible over Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, and South Gujarat. Light rain is possible at one or two places over North Punjab, North Haryana, and West Uttar Pradesh.

IMD said in a tweet that, during the next 5 days, there is a possibility of strong or scattered rains over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya. During this, thunderstorms and lightning warnings have also been issued, with heavy rain likely over Arunachal Pradesh from 1 to 4 September and Assam and Meghalaya from 2 to 4 September. There is a warning of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, South Karnataka, and Kerala.
