Months have passed since the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, but it is not yet clear whether he committed suicide or was murdered. In this case, several investigating agencies including CBI, NCB are investigating various angles. The NCB on Tuesday detained Sushant's friend and assistant director Hrishikesh Pawar. The agency will now interrogate Pawar.

The NCB is investigating the drug angle which surfaced in Bollywood after Sushant's death. The NCB was found to have a drug connection during an Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation. The ED had busted the drug connection in the Bollywood industry through WhatsApp chats of several accused, after which several well-known personalities including actress Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan were questioned.

Recently, an NCB official had said that the agency had conducted a raid in the Dongri area of Mumbai. In this, the agency got the drug Mefadron (MD), after which it arrested gangster Chinku Pathan. "Chinku Pathan is currently in the custody of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). The NCB fears that Pathan and Dawood Ibrahim may have a link. After NCB, ATS is also questioning Pathan. ''

It is worth mentioning that Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on 14 June 2020 in his flat in Mumbai under suspicious circumstances. The Mumbai police had declared his death as suicide in the initial investigation, but after all the questions arose, the CBI is now investigating the case. Sushant Singh Rajput, who started his career in Bollywood with the film 'Kai Po Che', achieved a good place by acting brilliantly in films like Sonchiraiya, Kedarnath in a short period.
