The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has made High-Security Number Plate (HSRP) and color-coded stickers mandatory for all vehicles from April 1, 2019, two years ago. In such a situation, HSRP plates and color-coded stickers have started coming on all vehicles purchased after April 1, 2019.
