
Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the Bharvad community of Gujarat to adopt natural farming and plant trees under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. He urged the community, which is mainly engaged in animal husbandry, to contribute to making the country a developed nation by 2047. PM Modi addressed the community members gathered in large numbers to attend a religious program at Bavaliali Dham in Dholera taluka of Ahmedabad through a virtual medium.
He said that we have caused a lot of pain to our mother earth, as we kept drawing water continuously and then putting toxic chemicals in it. Now it is our responsibility to make it healthy again. He said that cow dung can help revive the earth. I urge all of you to adopt natural farming and serve the mother earth. He said that people should adopt natural farming and also plant trees under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. He appealed to the community to get their cattle vaccinated free of cost by the Center to protect them from foot and mouth disease.

He appealed to the community to bring changes according to the circumstances and teach their daughters to operate computers. Earlier in the day, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Bavaliyali Dham and participated in the religious program of the Bharvad community.
