A popular video app is facing a lot of difficulty these days. After being banned from India, there is a danger of a ban on tiktok in America as well. It was claimed in the reports that Tech giant Apple could buy BiteDance, the company that owns Tiktok. But Apple has made it clear that there is no interest in buying its tiktok.
However, another US tech giant company, Microsoft, has shown interest in buying Tiktok. Trump has given BiteDance 45 days to sell Tiktok. Microsoft is negotiating to buy Tiktok.
The Trump administration had last week expressed concerns about tiktok because of national security. Trump claims that tiktok is a major threat to national security. Earlier, Trump had already taken major action on another Chinese giant Huawei.
India has taken action
At the same time, a White House spokesperson says that in the coming days, in addition to tiktok, China is also preparing to take action on other apps. The spokesperson said action will be taken on national security including Tiktok because of national security. The security of the country is a big threat to these apps.
Let us know that more than 100 apps, including China's Tiktok, have faced action in India. Amid the ongoing dispute with China, the Indian government had banned 59 apps from China last month. A few days ago the Indian government, taking another decision, banned 47 more apps from China.
