Will the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup match be canceled? Union minister said - think again

Amid the escalating terrorist attacks on civilians in the Kashmir Valley in October, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said on Monday that the T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan should be reconsidered as both the countries have Relations between them are not good.

In response to a question regarding the T20 World Cup cricket match between India and Pakistan, Giriraj Singh said, "I believe that if the relationship between India and Pakistan is not good, then it should be reconsidered." The match between India and Pakistan is to be held in Dubai on 24 October.

Let us inform that the hand of Pakistan is being told behind the increased violence in Jammu and Kashmir in the past. To create an atmosphere of instability in the Valley, Pakistan-backed terrorist organizations are targeting civilians, especially minorities, here. In this episode, terrorists opened fire on two laborers of Bihar on Sunday. Earlier on Saturday also, terrorists attacked two non-Kashmiris, one of whom was a Muslim. On Friday, terrorists gunned down a Golgappa seller from Bihar and a carpenter from Uttar Pradesh.

Hundreds of laborers have been forced to flee, while thousands of non-Kashmiris are being taken to safe havens by security forces due to the atmosphere of fear that has increased after the targeted terror attacks in the Valley.
