Gautam Gambhir said this fast bowler will be the X factor of Team India in the T20 World Cup

The Indian cricket team will play two warm-up matches in the T20 World Cup before their main match against Pakistan on 24 October. The Indian team has to play its first warm-up match against England today and the second against Australia on Wednesday. Former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is all set to play the role of Team India's mentor in the T20 World Cup, which begins on Sunday. Meanwhile, former Indian team opener Gautam Gambhir believes that veteran fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah can prove to be the X factor for Team India in this tournament.

"Suppose there's KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Varun Chakraborty and maybe there's an X-Factor, but there will be Jasprit Bumrah too," Gambhir said on the Star Sports show. Apart from Gambhir, former all-rounder, Irfan Pathan called Bumrah the X factor and said, "When we talk about Varun Chakraborty, it is clear that he will do well because he has mystery and he is at the top. But according to me, there is only one X factor in bowling and that is Bumrah. No other team can have a bigger X factor than Bumrah.

This is the last T20 World Cup and tournament of Indian captain Virat Kohli as captain and after that Kohli will not captain the team in this format. "She just wants to win the T20 title and I'm sure the whole team will want to do the same because it's a long wait of 14 years," Gambhir said. I am sure it is not only about Virat Kohli that he is going to captain India for the last time in the T20 format, but it is also just about winning tournaments, and his victory as captain is like icing on the cake. '

On the appointment of Mahendra Singh Dhoni as Team India's mentor for the T20 World Cup, Gambhir said, I think sharing my experience with some of the youngsters playing their first World Cup is going to be very important for Dhoni because the world Playing in the cup is completely different. You will need someone experienced who has been there. So, Dhoni can try to share all his experiences with some young cricketers.
