Under the leadership of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, 19 parties united on Friday and talked about fighting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the next Lok Sabha elections. Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who attended the meeting, also advised the opposition parties that the public will have to be convinced that unity will prevail if the power is seen in front. Raut said that Sonia Gandhi had personally spoken to leaders of all parties and requested them to attend the meeting. He said that there was also a discussion on how to prepare for the upcoming general election by staying united, besides the alleged Pegasus espionage case, issues related to farmers, rising inflation, and 'attack on democracy' were also discussed in the online meeting. Hui.

Asked about the situation in Afghanistan, Raut said India faces a threat from the Taliban as it has the support of India's enemies Pakistan and China. "If voices are raised in support of Taliban in India, then the government should crush them immediately," he said.

Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK leader M.K.
