Patna, Jan 3 (IANS) A woman's tongue was allegedly cut off by her neighbour in a Bihar village for defecating in the open in his field, police said Saturday.
This incident took place at Chakyaaz village in Vaishali district, about 50 km from here.
Kusma Devi's tongue was cut in half Friday by her neighbour Bhagwat Paswan to teach her lesson, police said.
Her husband Indradeo Paswan has lodged a police complaint against the neighbour.
"My wife was first beaten and later her tongue was cut in half," he said.
"It appears that the incident is because of an old dispute between two families," a police official said.
