World Cup 2023: 'Pakistan's defeat against India was encouraged by Pakistan', chief batsman made a big disclosure

Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the 30th match of World Cup 2023 on Tuesday. With this, Pakistan kept its expectations alive to reach the semi-finals. Fakhar Zaman played an important role in winning Pakistan over Bangladesh.

 

The left-arm batsman scored 81 runs in 74 balls with the help of three fours and seven sixes. Fakhar Zaman made a big disclosure after playing the match-winning innings. He said that the World Cup in 2023 was stunned by Pakistan due to the defeat at the hands of India.

 

India's unilateral victory over Pakistan

Recall that on October 14, the match was played between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India had all-out Pakistan for 191 runs. After this, Team India won the match with seven wickets remaining. This was the eighth consecutive win over Pakistan in India's ODI World Cup.

The defeat against India had a bad effect on Babar Azam Brigade. Pakistan lost four consecutive matches and made its path to the semi -finals extremely difficult. Pakistan's team finally returned to the victory track on Tuesday and kept their expectations alive.

In the press conference after the match, Fakhar Zaman accepted that the defeat against India had an impact on the team. Zaman accepted that he would lie that there is no such case. Fakhar said that Pakistan has tried to make a comeback and hopes that it will perform better.

Pakistan achieved the target by losing three wickets in just 32.3 overs. Fakhar Zaman was adjudged Player of the Match, who scored 81 runs in 74 balls with the help of three fours and seven sixes.
