On Thursday, Mumbai Police received such a message on the WhatsApp helpline of the traffic control room. As soon as this message was received, there was a stir in the police department, and the officers were in a panic.

This threatening message claimed that 14 terrorists have entered Mumbai and they have placed bombs in 34 vehicles along with 400 kg of RDX.

From the Crime Branch to ATS engaged in investigation

This message has put the police on high alert, especially at a time when the city of dreams is immersed in the splendor of Ganesh Utsav. The police immediately started investigating this threat. From the Crime Branch to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), all agencies have started getting to the bottom of this matter.

The name of an organization has also come up in the message - 'Lashkar-e-Jihadi'. The police are searching for the truth about this organization and the person who sent the message.

Security is tight during Ganesh Utsav.

Saturday is the last day of Ganesh Utsav, when lakhs of people will come out on the streets. In such a situation, the police are not in the mood to take any risk.

Security has been increased at important places in the city. Temples, markets, and crowded places are being monitored. Combining operations i.e., intensive search operations, are also being carried out so that nothing untoward happens. The police have appealed to the people not to believe in rumors and to report any suspicious activity immediately.

What is 'Lashkar-e-Jihadi'?

There is not much information about the 'Lashkar-e-Jihadi' mentioned in the message. The police is investigating the truth of this name, whether it is a real organization or someone has coined this name to threaten.

Along with this, an attempt is being made to find out by investigating the WhatsApp message who sent it and why. Technical teams are trying to get to the bottom of it.
