Pakistani fundamentalists are plotting to enter Israel through Europe. Italian intelligence agencies have disclosed this. Twelve Pakistani nationals have been arrested from Italy's port city, Genea. They are being interrogated at some secret location. All those arrested had illegally reached Europe. It is being said that all of them are members of the same group. The name of this group has been told as Gabbar.
There is no diplomatic relation between Pakistan and Israel. Pakistani passport holders cannot travel to Israel. Saudi Arabia has not yet recognized Israel. However, the two countries have come very close under backdoor diplomacy.
Warning to Italy and Europe
According to a blog published in 'The Times of Israel', radicals from Pakistan are entering different European countries illegally. Some of them are trying to reach Israel. Recently, in Italy's port city, Genia, a special cell raided some places. During this 12 Pakistanis were arrested. This is an alarm bell for Europe and Israel.
According to the blog, those arrested have close ties to jihadi groups. These people were also planning attacks in Europe. As soon as the matter of arrest came to light, all the countries of the European Union have come on alert mode.
connection to the Charlie Hebdo attack
According to the report, the Charlie Hebdo magazine office was attacked in Paris in 2020. Even then, during the investigation, information about the Pakistan connection of the accused had come to the fore. It is believed that Pakistanis have the biggest hand in increasing the number of radicals in Europe. According to the information, the arrested people are related to the Gabbar Group.
Local media reports said that Europe's investigative agencies have been campaigning against terrorist and radical organizations for two years. Pakistani citizens are active in many provinces of Italy. Sometimes they also use social media.
Pakistanis are seen in many countries
Many European countries, including Britain, Spain, Italy, France, and Germany, are keeping an eye on Pakistani citizens living here. In Paris in 2020, two civilians were attacked with a knife. Zaheer Hassan Mahmood was arrested during the investigation. Zaheer was a Pakistani citizen and is still in jail.
European countries feel that the threat has increased manifold with the government's support to radical organizations like Tehreek-e-Labbaik during the Imran Khan era. This organization had demanded the removal of the ambassador of France from the country. France had arrested four Pakistanis. All of them were members of Mullah Ilyas Qadri's organization Dawat-e-Islami.
