BJP's victory in Bihar is more shocking than Gujarat-Himachal, Nitish-Tejashwi could not defeat even together

The results of the assembly elections in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and the by-elections in Lok Sabha in Mainpuri are being discussed all over the country. But the result of Bihar's Kudhani assembly by-election is the most shocking.

Raising the flag of opposition unity, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's party JDU candidate Manoj Kushwaha has lost despite all the equations being in his favor. Chirag Paswan has emerged as the biggest factor in this victory.

This seat had become a question of the prestige of Nitish Kumar. This was the first election for Nitish Kumar after forming the government with RJD. Nitish considers himself the leader of the ECB. Along with this, if the vote percentage of JDU-RJD is added, then the Grand Alliance becomes so strong in Bihar that BJP does not stand anywhere in front of it.

In Bihar, if you add 15 percent Yadavs, 11 percent Kurmi-Kori-Nishad and 17 percent Muslims, then the total becomes 43 percent. Talk about the Kudhani assembly seat, there are about three lakh votes, Kushwaha 38 thousand, Nishad 25 thousand, Vaishya 35 thousand, 23 thousand Muslim, 18 thousand Bhumihar, Yadav 32 thousand, non-Bhumihar upper caste 20 thousand, Dalit 20 thousand. This figure is approx.

Kushwaha has the maximum number of voters in Kudhni. Nitish Kumar considers himself the leader of Kurmis and Kushwahas. There are big leaders like Upendra Kushwaha in his party. Along with this, Manoj himself also comes from the Kushwaha caste. Yet JDU has got a crushing defeat on this seat.

It is believed that the BJP's strategy has worked on this seat, which it wants to try in the whole of Bihar. If the votes of 15 percent upper castes, 26 percent extremely backward, and 16 percent Dalits come together in Bihar, then it can be easy for any party to win Bihar. BJP has done a similar experiment in the recent elections in Uttar Pradesh.

In Kudhani, BJP candidate Kedar Prasad Gupta has opened the way for this equation by defeating Nitish Kumar's JDU candidate Manoj Kushwaha by 3,645 votes. Gupta got 76,653 votes while Kushwaha got 73,008 votes in the fight for the Kudhani seat.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and Rajya Sabha member Sushil Kumar Modi has demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after BJP's victory in Kudhani.

Sushil Modi said that Nitish Kumar's Grand Alliance spent crores of rupees like water in Kudni and adopted all the tricks, yet the voters there confirmed the victory of the BJP.

Sushil Modi said that Lalu Ji's name was also used in the election, and the emotional card was played raising the topic of his kidney transplant, the Chief Minister also held many meetings and made this election a question of prestige. But finally, BJP won in the by-election.

On the other hand, BJP leader and former state minister Samrat Chowdhary said that people have expressed tremendous faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the election result is a slap on the face of the Grand Alliance.

The most surprising thing is that JDU leader Upendra Kushwaha has resorted to the poem of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the party's defeat. He wrote in the tweet, '

'What in defeat, what in victory... We need to learn a lot from the result of Kudhani. First lesson- 'The public is not according to us, but we have to walk according to the public'.

Why was the by-election held in Kudhni?

RJD MLA Anil Sahni was sentenced to 3 years in the traveling allowance scam case. Because of this, he lost his assembly membership. After that, this by-election had to be held in Kudhani. In the elections held in the year 2020, Sahni defeated his nearest rival Kedar Gupta of the BJP by about 700 votes.

Chirag Paswan's role in BJP's victory

Chirag Paswan campaigned for BJP candidate Kedar Gupta. It is clear from the results that the BJP candidate has got SC/ST votes fiercely. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav held four meetings on this seat and sought votes in the name of Lalu Prasad Yadav. But Chirag raised the issue of prohibition in his meeting and alleged that SC/ST people are being harassed by using this law. Along with this, BJP has also got the support of OBC votes.

The victory in Kudhani will have an impact till Delhi.

The defeat of the grand alliance in Kudhani is shocking. The effect of this defeat can be more than the assembly election results in Gujarat and Himachal. There is no doubt that the results of Bihar's Kudhani assembly by-election will affect Delhi. Through this victory, has BJP also found a formula for victory among caste equations? It was always believed in Bihar that due to the merger of JDU-RJD, it will be very difficult for BJP in Bihar in 2024. But the victory of this Kudhani has also resulted in a new caste formula amid caste equations.
