The men's hockey match was played between England and Canada at the Commonwealth Games on Thursday. During this, there was a fierce fight between the two players. Canada's Balraj Panesar and England's Chris Griffith grabbed each other's necks and clashed on the field. The fight between the two escalated so much that the players and the referee had to intervene.
Fight between Balraj Panesar and Stick Griffith
It happened that the England team was showing continuous attacking games to score goals against Canada. Then Balraj Panesar's hockey stick hit Griffith's hand and got stuck. This enraged Griffith and pushed Panesar. Due to this Paneshar got furious and he grabbed the neck of the England player. Then both of them grabbed each other's T-shirts and started pulling. It seemed that the playground had become a battlefield.
Then the players of both the teams came and separated the two. The referee then showed Canada's Balraj Panesar a red card and sent him out. At the same time, Chris warned Griffith by showing him the yellow card.
