In response, Mumbai could score only 130 runs after losing six wickets in 20 overs. With this, RCB won the match by five runs.
Harmanpreet Kaur's mistake cost Mumbai dearly
Mumbai had made a strong start in this match. There was a 27-run partnership between Yastika Bhatia and Haley Mathews, who came to open the batting, which was broken by Shreyanka Patil. Mathews returned to the pavilion after scoring 15 runs. After this, the Indian batsman managed to score 19 runs. Nate Siver Brunt came in to bat at number three. He made a partnership of 23 runs with Yastika Bhatia for the third wicket.
There was a tremendous partnership between Hamranpreet Kaur and Amelia Kar for the fourth wicket which was ended by Shreyanka Patil. There was a partnership of 52 runs in 44 balls between the two. The captain managed to score 33 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur's wicket became the reason for Mumbai's defeat. After this, Sajeevan Sajna made one and Pooja made four. At the same time, Amelia remained unbeaten after scoring 27 runs and Amanjot Kaur remained unbeaten after scoring one run. For RCB, Shreyanka Patil took two wickets while Ellyse Perry, Sophie Molineux, Georgia Wareham, and Asha Sobhana got one wicket each.

Ellis Perry played a stormy inning of 66 runs for RCB. During this, eight fours and one six came from his bat. RCB had a bad start in this match. Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine, who came to open the batting for the team, got out after scoring 20 runs. RCB lost two wickets within three balls. Haley Mathews made her victim on the last ball of the second over. Whereas, Natalie Siver Brunt sent the captain to the pavilion on the second ball of the third over. Against Mumbai, Disha Kasat scored zero runs, Richa Ghosh scored 14 runs, and Sophie Molineux scored 11 runs. Whereas, Georgia and Shreyanka remained unbeaten after scoring 18 and three runs respectively. Mumbai's bowling attack proved to be a disaster for RCB in this match. Haley Mathews, Nate Siver Brunt, and Saika Ishaq got two wickets each.
