Russia Ukraine War: Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's instructions - Ukraine's support and sanctions against Russia will remain intact

Russia's special military operation in Ukraine is going on and there is also a sequence of serial attacks here. In such a situation, to teach a lesson to Russia, Western countries have imposed various sanctions against Moscow. This also includes Japan.

 

Meanwhile, Japan's finance minister said on Tuesday that the country's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida held a meeting with his cabinet ministers and coordinated with the countries in the G7 group to continue supporting Ukraine and sanctions against Russia. Directed to continue giving diplomatic response including a continuation.

 

Japan's Finance Minister gave information

 

The country's Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki told reporters, "We will continue to work closely with the countries in the G7 group. The Prime Minister's direction will be in line with the international community and action will be taken accordingly.

 

Japan avoiding Russia

 

It is known that amidst the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, Japan had already advised its citizens not to travel to Russia. Japan has asked its countrymen to refrain from traveling to Russia and to cancel their trip if there is a specific reason, ignoring that too.

 

What's more, Japan has issued a top "Level 4" warning for Russian territories bordering Ukraine. The Japanese government has urged its citizens to leave these areas and move elsewhere.

 

Japan also banned Russia from SWIFT

 

In addition, Japan has decided to join the US and European countries in the decision to ban Russian banks from the international financial messaging system 'SWIFT'.

 

SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) is a system acting as the Gmail of global banking services. Japan has also provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine in its war with Russia.
