Due to continuous heavy rains in many states of the country, there is a bad situation. Common life has been affected. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy to very heavy rain in many states today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain around August 19 under the influence of a low-pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in different parts of the country till August 21.

 

According to this forecast, some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, and Odisha may be badly affected. There is a possibility of rain in most states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan today. According to IMD, there will be heavy rain in Saurashtra and Kutch areas today. It will rain in Konkan and Goa on August 20 and 21. At the same time, moderate rain is expected in Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh from August 18 to 21. Light rain and thundershowers will occur in Odisha from today till August 20. Light rain is expected in many areas in Jharkhand on 19th and 20th, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh from 19th to 21st August.

Heavy rain is expected in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa

 

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains have been forecast in Saurashtra, Kutch on August 18, and Konkan and Goa on August 20- 21. At the same time, till August 21, along with Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha, there may be rain in Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand. In Chhattisgarh, a warning and alert of heavy rain have been issued at different places till August 21. Similarly, on August 21, there may be heavy rain in Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, and West Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Odisha till August 22.

 

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?

 

Talking about Delhi-NCR, there is a possibility of some rain on the weekend. Today's maximum temperature is likely to be around 35 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will be around 26 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted a cloudy sky today. It will not rain here today and tomorrow. There is a possibility of rain from the 20th to the 23rd and a yellow alert has been issued for the 21st.

 

Heavy rain alert in 20 districts of Odisha

 

The Meteorological Department has issued a 'Yellow Alert' warning of heavy rains in 20 districts of Odisha today i.e. on Thursday. Along with this, 'Orange Alert' has also been issued in 17 districts amid warnings of very heavy rains on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department, 20 districts including Cuttack, Puri, and Khurda may receive heavy rains today. On Friday, an 'orange alert' was issued in 17 districts including Cuttack, Kendrapara, and Sambalpur, anticipating very heavy rains. The Meteorological Office issued a red alert on Saturday, forecasting very heavy rainfall in seven districts of Kalahandi and western Odisha.

 

how will the weather be in Rajasthan

 

According to the weather, from August 18, rain activities will reduce sharply in most parts except Jaisalmer and Barmer districts of western Rajasthan. On the other hand, the weather will remain dry in most parts and there is a possibility of rain in isolated places. A new round of rain will start in some parts of East Rajasthan from August 21.
