preparations are underway to build a sun in the mountainous region of the south of France to obtain clean and clean energy sources around the world. Scientists from 35 countries including India are involved in this work. When this sun is ready, then the biggest energy crisis in human history will end. Along with this, the earth, which is facing the havoc of climate change, will also get freedom from the crisis.
One gram of nuclear fuel from this sun will produce energy equivalent to 8 tons of oil. Scientists are trying to regain their mastery over nuclear fusion. Nuclear fusion is the same process that occurs naturally in our real Sun and other stars.
However, this process is not easy to replicate on Earth. Unlike fossil fuels, nuclear fusion provides unlimited energy. It does not release any greenhouse gas. It is also expected to get rid of radioactive waste.
The idea first came in 1985
France's International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) will be the first device that can continue a fusion reaction for a long time. In this, integrated technology and materials will be tested, which will be used for the commercial production of electricity from fusion. Its first idea the experiment was launched in 1985. India, Japan, Korea, European Union, and America have a role in making its design.
