Medical tests of Showik and Miranda are being done at Lokmanya Tilak Hospital in Mumbai. Kaizen Ibrahim and Zaid, arrested in the drugs case along with them, were also taken to the hospital. All four of them were covid tested. All reports have come negative.

The NCB told a Mumbai court that Basit, who was arrested in a drug connection in the Rajput death case, said he used to buy drugs at Showik's behest.
Contact between Miranda and Zaid also proved
Miranda told during interrogation that he used to buy drugs for Sushant. Miranda used to take buds through Zaid. Miranda was given the number of Zaid by Showik. Zaid also confessed in interrogation that he also supplied drugs to Miranda in late July after Sushant's death. Zaid has also said that Showik paid cash for this.

Meanwhile, after receiving the news of the arrest, Miranda's lawyer and wife reached the NCB office. Miranda's lawyer told the media that he had nothing to tell. They have only come to know what charges Miranda is facing and which court they will be produced.

Meanwhile, NCB deputy director KPS Malhotra said that Showik and Miranda are accused of buying drugs from Indian and foreign currencies. Both have been arrested after technical evidence. Showik and Miranda could not deny the evidence found. Both have been arrested under sections 20B, 28, and 29 of NDPS like Offenses of Drugs Consumption, Arranging Procurement Drugs.
