Severe heat wave conditions are prevailing in various states of North and Central India. The temperature has reached above 45 degrees Celsius in many states. The temperature is reaching 44-45 degrees in states like Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, etc. Heatwave conditions are going to be severe in the national capital Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, etc. However, there are still many states like Sikkim, where it will continue to rain.

 

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rain for the next five days for Bengal, Sikkim. Along with this, the heatwave will continue over Northwest and Central India for the next three-four days. On the other hand, it is a matter of relief for the people of Delhi troubled by the scorching heat that the monsoon has been expected to arrive by June 15. Southwest Monsoon has now entered West Bengal. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain with thunderstorms in many states of the country.

From June 8 to 10, very heavy rain is expected to wreak havoc at isolated places in Meghalaya. According to the IMD, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Gangetic West Bengal during the next 5 days. At the same time, heavy rain and thundershowers will be seen over Karnataka, Kerala, and Mahe and Lakshadweep. It is scattered over Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal and isolated activity over Telangana during the next 5 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a heat wave in Punjab, Haryana-Delhi, and Uttarakhand of North India till June 9. A similar situation forecast has been issued for Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh till June 8. Severe heat wave conditions are expected in the Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, West Rajasthan, North Jharkhand, and Vidarbha till Tuesday. The heatwave has also been predicted over East Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana for today.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that on Saturday and Sunday there may be cloudy weather and light rain may also occur. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 44 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. During the day, winds with a speed of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour are possible. Heatwave conditions may occur in some parts of Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. Heat wave continues in Punjab, Yellow alert issued

Meteorologist SN Sahu said that the weather in Madhya Pradesh remained completely dry in the last 24 hours. Heatwaves occurred in Naugaon, Satna, Malajkhand, Khajuraho, Damoh, Rajgarh, and Gwalior. The weather is likely to remain dry in the next 24 hours as well. On the other hand, there is a possibility of a heat wave in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal division, and in Rajgarh, Raisen, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Balaghat, and Umaria districts. PK Saha, a scientist at the Meteorological Center said that the monsoon has remained lax in the Arabian Sea for the last one week. The temperature is increasing due to the lack of moisture in the air.

 

Heavy rain is likely in these states today

 

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls may occur over Northeast India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Kerala, South Karnataka, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh today. Light to moderate rain may occur over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, East Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Kerala, South Konkan and Goa, and South Madhya Maharashtra. Light rain is possible over Interior Odisha, Marathwada, Jammu, and Kashmir.
