But it is being told that in 6 names Lt General Asim Munir (currently Quarter Master General), Lt General Sahir Shamshad Mirza (Commander 10 Corps), Lt General Azhar Abbas (Chief of General Staff), Lt General Mahmood (National Defense University President), Lt Gen Faiz Hamid (Commander Bahawalpur Corps), and Lt Gen Mohd Amir (Commander Gujranwala Corps). Before November 29, PM Shahbaz Sharif will elect two of these for COAS and CJCSC. A summary will be sent by Prime Minister Sharif to President Arif Alvi, who will notify the appointments.
