License Issue - service type user

Posted on 16th Feb 2014 07:03 pm by admin

Hi,

I would like to understand the following issue regarding sap license.
I wish to call a SAP Tcode from an external non-SAP system, just in order to view business data, such as displaying a transaction in display mode only. The purpose is to allow the call center workers (aprox. 50) to view the customers data,
In order to do that I use one service type user which allows multiple logons.
This user is authorized just for this specific TCode and only in display mode.

Is there any limitation of using such user type , and what are the Implications from the licensing point of view?

Thanks
