Dangerous storms have wreaked havoc in California, USA for the last two weeks. Since December 26, there have been 6 storms in which 17 people have lost their lives. 90% of the state's population i.e. 3 crores 40 lakh people are at risk of flood.

 

Due to continuous storms, there is a power failure in more than 2 lakh 20 thousand houses and shops. 35 thousand people have been ordered to vacate their houses. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of heavy rains, landslides, and flash floods on Wednesday. This can make the situation worse.
