Amidst the increasing cases of Covid, health experts said that there is no need to panic, as the infection is not serious. Cases are increasing due to new subvariants NB.1.8.1 and LF.7, but most of the patients are in home care. This time there will be no burden on hospitals due to Covid. However, caution should be taken to avoid Covid.

Dr. Harshal R. Salve, Additional Professor, Community Medicine Center, Delhi AIIMS, said, there is no need to panic. However, the surveillance system needs to be strengthened to control the Covid wave in the initial stage.
