We have received information that a bus and a car could have collided. We are waiting for detailed information on this."

NDRF and health department on alert
According to the information, the priority of the government is to know how many people were on the bus. For this, a list of passengers who boarded the bus has been called from the place from where the bus had departed. NDRF and the health department have been put on alert.

Deputy commissioner Abid Hussain Sadiq said that the army, National Disaster Response Force, and local rescue teams have been called for rescue work. Sadiq said the stones were still falling, making the rescue operation difficult. He said that the detailed information is still awaited. Another local official said that debris is still falling intermittently from the mountain. Therefore, there is a problem in starting the relief work.
