The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management provided 50 million yuan (about US$7.25 million) in financial assistance to assist with rescue and relief operations. The provincial government has also allocated 50 million yuan to Ganzi. Relief materials, including 3,000 tents and 10,000 folding beds, were allocated to Luding County, where the earthquake was the epicenter.
