Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used for a long time in search engines, social media platforms, and gadgets. It is used extensively for facial recognition and in research, but this time AI has surprised scientists around the world with its work.
In fact, during recent research at the Swiss Federal Institute for NBC (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical) Protection-Spice Laboratory, AI chemical compound was tasked to cure a complex disease. The disease involved filtering something that took a human life into a part of the body during treatment. During this time, instead of using the switch knowing the positive side of its result, the researchers used the negative result switch and the result turned out to be shocking and frightening.
40 thousand chemical weapons made in six hours
After pressing the wrong switch during research, in just six hours, 40 thousand chemical weapons were made, which is enough to destroy any part of the world at any time. After this research, the researchers asked to warn the world that AI, which has been helping in drug development for decades, could also be used to find the deadliest way to end humanity.
This AI was being tested to eliminate the VX nerve agent. Explain that the VX agent targets the muscles of the lungs, diaphragm, due to which humans become paralyzed. The use of a switch with a negative result was a novel experiment, the result of which turned out to be horrifying.
Researchers say that AI, machine learning have been used in research for medicines for decades, but such results have never been revealed. This is indeed an alarm bell that the world will have to think about in time.
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Stephen Hawking, the great scientist of the century, also warned us about the dangers of the development of AI. Elon Musk believes that "Artificial Intelligence can prove to be both the best and the worst things for humanity." Artificial intelligence refers to artificial intelligence that is capable of thinking, understanding, and doing things on its own. The term artificial intelligence was first coined by John McCarthy in 1955. Today he is called the Father of AI. AI makes decisions and acts on its own as the human brain, although this requires coding first.
What are chemical weapons?
Chemical weapons are considered more dangerous than any other weapon in the world. Chemical weapons are even more lethal than dynamite, TNT, or nuclear weapons, because they have the highest firepower and these weapons cause more harm to the general public. Chemical weapons cannot target a particular person, rather they can destroy the entire city. Chemical weapons are not visible but can destroy entire areas. Their effect lasts for centuries. Chemical weapons are also cheap. Let us tell you that chlorine was the world's first chemical weapon. Chlorine was created only to make people helpless, because it suffocates, although it also causes death. It was first used in 1915.
