In Florida, 54 books on Social Emotional Learning have been removed from the syllabus of the upcoming session under Mathematics. The department claims that out of 132 Maths books from class I to XII, 54 contain critical race theory or other inappropriate subjects.

Florida's public representatives believe that American history was being distorted through these books. In the US in the 1970s, CRT books were included in the school curriculum. This has been controversial since the beginning. Mathematics covers the logical aspects of this theory.
