UGC chairman's big announcement, now students will be able to get 2 full time degrees simultaneously

The University Grants Commission has announced its decision to allow students to pursue two full-time degree programs simultaneously in physical mode. UGC President Jagdish Kumar has said that students can pursue two-degree programs simultaneously from the same university or different universities.

 

Earlier students were allowed to pursue only one undergraduate program. This decision will provide an opportunity for the students to study multiple subjects from different faculties in the same or other institutions. The new guidelines approved by the commission state that a student can attend two programs at the same time. But times should vary. The degree can be obtained either from the same or from different universities. The attendance for which will be decided by the universities.
