China objected to the British minister's visit to Taiwan

"China strongly rejects any official exchanges with Taiwan territory by any country that has diplomatic relations with China," spokesman Zhao Lijian said at a press conference. Zhao further said that Beijing urged Britain to stop any official exchanges with Taiwan and to stop sending false signals to Taiwanese separatist forces.
