The shooting of Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's directorial venture Archies has begun on Monday. The film marks the debut of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Sri Devi's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor in Bollywood.

While the characters will be quite iconic, while talking to news agency ANI on Monday, Zoya said, "I am very excited to get the opportunity to bring The Archies to life. It was a big part of my childhood and adolescence. Its characters are iconic and loved all over the world, which is why I am a bit nervous. I have to make sure that the film brings back the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comics and still resonates with the youth of today.
