Amitabh Bachchan wished Agastya Nanda at the start of shooting of her debut film 'The Archies', said- 'Keep hoisting the flag'

The shooting of Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's directorial venture Archies has begun on Monday. The film marks the debut of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Sri Devi's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor in Bollywood.

 

Now Agastya Nanda's maternal grandfather and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan have shared a post on his Twitter handle and wished him to start his new innings. Retweeting a post on Twitter, the megastar wrote, Agastya... Now a new chapter begins in your life and there can be no greater happiness between all of us..... My blessings, my love, and my best wishes. May you do well everywhere and keep flying the flag of your success.

 

Let us tell you, Agastya is the son of Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and business tycoon Nikhil Nanda. While the characters will be quite iconic, while talking to news agency ANI on Monday, Zoya said, "I am very excited to get the opportunity to bring The Archies to life. It was a big part of my childhood and adolescence. Its characters are iconic and loved all over the world, which is why I am a bit nervous. I have to make sure that the film brings back the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comics and still resonates with the youth of today.

 

At the same time, Reema Kagti also shared some photos related to the shoot on her Instagram, in which Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda are seen in a very different styles.

According to the information, Zoya Akhtar announced this project last year through an Instagram post. Hindi adaptation of The Archies Comics, which will be based on a live-action musical set in the 60s. The film is being produced by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Sharad Devarajan under the banner of Tiger Baby and Graphic India.
