Presenting this year's budget, CM Bommai said, "Farmers will be given loans at zero interest rate. Till now farmers were given loans of Rs 3 lakh, but now the loan amount has been increased to Rs 5 lakh. Also, Rs 175 crore has been allocated for the protection and storage of crops. Apart from this, he said that a loan of Rs 25,000 crore will be distributed to over 30 lakh farmers in the next financial year.
Shram Shakti Yojana started for women
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has announced the launch of Shram Shakti Scheme for women in the budget. Under this scheme, landless agricultural women laborers will be provided assistance of Rs.500 per month. At the same time, announcements have also been made for the students in the budget.
