Bail granted to accused of vandalizing Allu Arjun's house.
Earlier, a Hyderabad court on Monday granted bail to six people arrested for allegedly vandalizing Telugu actor Allu Arjun's residence. A day after the incident, the police beefed up security at the actor's house. The incident has also triggered political rhetoric, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) attacking the Congress government and saying that some of the attackers are from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's constituency, Kodangal.

Meanwhile, according to police sources, a notice has been issued to the Telugu actor to appear before the police. The actor has been asked to appear on December 24 at 11 am. Security at Allu Arjun's house beefed up after vandalism.
Earlier, six people claiming to be members of the Osmania University-Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC) were arrested after they damaged flower pots and threw tomatoes at Arjun's residence on Sunday evening. The police arrested them and produced them in a local court, from where they got bail on Monday. On Sunday, Chief Minister Reddy condemned the attack and directed the state Director General of Police (DGP) and the city police commissioner to take strict action to maintain law and order.
Political arrows were fired in the case.
BRS leader T Harish Rao termed the incident as a complete failure of governance, while BJP Lok Sabha member DK Aruna claimed that four of those who vandalized the actor's house were from Kodangal. He said that this raises doubts whether it was a Congress conspiracy.
However, the ruling party has denied the allegation. Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said that it is wrong to link the vandals to the Congress party by just showing some photographs. The accused in the incident have also posed for photographs with leaders of other parties.
He said that we do not know why they vandalized. Why would we provoke them and send them? Panchayat Raj Minister D Anasuya Sitakka alleged that the BRS and the BJP were politicizing the issue. He said that one person lost his life and another is struggling for life.
