US Alaska: 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Alaska, tsunami warning in coastal areas

Earthquake tremors have been felt in Alaska, USA. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 7.4 on the Richter scale. The news of the loss of life and property has not come to the fore. A Tsunami warning has been issued in the coastal areas after the earthquake.

 

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck Alaska on Sunday afternoon. A Tsunami warning has been issued in the coastal areas after the earthquake. The USGS said the earthquake was at a depth of 9.3 km (5.78 mi).
