North Korea has claimed that it conducted a hypersonic missile test on Tuesday and it was successful. How does this missile work?

Because of this, they can dodge the defense system ie radar. The power to fly at a very low altitude does not allow them to come under the radar of the enemy.
How is it different from a ballistic missile?
A launch vehicle takes the hypersonic missile into space. After this, the missile moves so fast that anti-missile systems cannot track it. Although ballistic missiles also run at hypersonic speed, when they are launched from a place, it is known where they will fall. Due to this, anti-missile systems can easily track them, because their direction cannot be changed after launch.
On the other hand, the hypersonic missile can be changed even after its launch. It is for these reasons that they do not come under the grip of anti-missile systems. That is, overall it can be said that if a country launches a hypersonic missile, then it will be very difficult to stop it.
